My passion for teaching is a very important part in what drives me forward. Choreography is more than just artistic movement, but a means to learn multiple facets of life such as how the body moves, what limitations can be broken, and how to express the life we all share.

Myers worked with Appleseeds NYC, teaching classes that focus on stimulating muscle growth, social skills, and body coordination to ages 18-24 months. Being able to teach such a young age offers a challenge that requires patience, various teaching methods, and flexibility to each student.

Teaching the tips and tricks of using our bodies is useful for all ages. Myers has worked with organizations such as Music Theatre for Young People, youth theatre designed to strengthen professionalism, work ethic, and artistic skills to ages 6-18, the Bethel College for workshops in contemporary movement, and with community theatres in Kansas which range from 5-65+.

A big inspiration for Myers was working with Laughing Feet.

The mission of The Laughing Feet Performers is to inspire relationships between individuals with special needs and their typical peers through musical and artistic expression as well as give performance opportunities to those who would normally not have them.

Myers performed with the talented crew for two years.

After moving to New York, Myers began working with Erika Bance and the Town Hall School of Performing Arts. A high school setting dedicated to challenging students to push their full potential and allowing them to blossom in their own ways. Myers has worked with them for three years.
